The Jarls Pouch is the perfect choice for anyone recreating a Viking style or just looking for a unique design. The Jarls pouch design isn’t just ‘easy on the eyes’ however, it is also historically accurate. We painstakingly created this pouch based on archaeological evidence discovered at the Birka dig in Sweden. The spacious pouch is approximately 7” long, 6.5” wide and 2” deep. All of our pouches are designed to be both functional and pleasing to the eye. Unique hardware and only the finest materials combine to make you a one-of-a-kind accessory that you will use for years to come. Look closely for heavy stitching and heavy duty fasteners. It doesn’t matter how good the design is, if it is not made to stand up to frequent wear. Feel free to stuff our pouches and bags to the brim; have no worries about tearing, ripping, fraying or coming unraveled. We do not use lacing or braiding to assemble our bags. Though sometimes attractive, it is extremely weak and will often give way after only a few months of use.
