An elegant ring belt design, for the conscientious buyer who demands only the best. The Conscript's Belt comes in three widths, and will be custom cut to length to especially fit you! The bridle leather features a stainless steel ring which is fastened with matching heavy duty chicago screws. These fine belts are far more than just a strap cut out of cheap hide. The edges are dyed, then rounded and burnished so they are smooth to the touch. Waxes and oils are then hand rubbed throughout the length of the belt, sealing in the dyes and making the leather flexible and supple. Light tooling is applied along either edge for subtle decoration. You'll be proud to wear your finely crafted belt for many years to come!
We understand that if there is a ‘ready supply’ of options out there for any one particular piece of garb, its belts. However, there is a big difference between belts and quality belts. Look closely at our products and you will notice many critical improvements. The first is either ‘struck thru’ leather or leather that has been dyed AND sealed. What does this mean for you? No bleeding! We have heard too many tragic stories of poorly made belts going over very expensive tunics/bodices only to be ruined at the next event when the wearer sweats or gets caught in the rain. Secondly, you will find that our belts are significantly suppler than our competitor’s belts. Other belts are stiff and hard to knot, and often crack within a few months. Don’t compromise! Always look for quality leather, durable hardware and a craftsman that is willing to do what is right for the sake of excellence. Simply put, don’t wear anything but Mojo Leather!
